Chairman, Global Steering Group for Impact Investment

Sir Ronald Cohen is, currently, the Chairman of the Global Steering Group for Impact and Investment. He, also, serves as Chairman for the Portland Trust and for the Impact-Weighted Accounts Initiative at Harvard Business School. Moreover, he is the Co-Founder Director of Social Finance UK, US, and Israel, other than holding the Co-Founder Chair of Bridges Fund Management and Big Society Capital. His efforts have been focused on initiatives in driving impact investment that have catalysed a number of global efforts, each focused on driving private capital to serve social and environmental good. Prior to these roles, Sir Ronald Cohen Co-founded and held the position of Executive Chairman of Apax Partners Worldwide LLP, between 1972 and 2005. In those years he also served as Founder Director and Chairman of the British Venture Capital Association and a Founder Director of the European Venture Capital Association. Currently, he hold the role of Member of the Board of Dean’s Advisors at Harvard Business School and a Vice-Chairman of Ben Gurion University.
