Dr Monika Puri
Dr Monika Puri is a medical doctor and a trained public health specialist with extensive experience in developing and implementing healthcare programs. She currently leads the Institutional Relations team at Roche where she is engaging with global and local stakeholders and shaping the global health dialogue.
Prior to joining Roche’s Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, Monika was at Roche India as a lead for Policy and Government Affairs. She joined the corporate sector from the World Health Organization’s (WHO) South-East Asia Regional Office where she has worked as a public health professional. She supported South-East Asian Member Countries of the WHO in assessing and implementing their National Medicines Policy. Monika is also the Honorary Chief Operations Officer of a non-governmental organization serving the health needs of villages in the National Capital Region of India. She is a Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences, India and holds an MD, in Community Medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, India.
