Chairman, Centre for Global Studies; Roving Ambassador, Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) for the GCC Region
Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam Al Madani is the Chairman of INDEX Holding, a healthcare business management company based in Dubai. He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Health Care Management, a Master’s degree in Hospital Management, and a Ph.D. and Honorary Degree in Humanities. He is Chairman of several organisations, including the International Congress for Health Specialties (ICHS) in the United Kingdom, the DIHAD Sustainable Humanitarian Foundation, the DIHAD Humanitarian College, and the Anti-Smoking International Alliance. He also serves as Executive Chairman of the Global Scientific
Dental Alliance (GSDA) and the Global Family Medicine Scientific Alliance (GFMSA). Since 2023, Amb. Dr. Al Madani serves as Chairman of the PAM Centre for Global Studies (CGS), an extrabudgetary programme of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM). The CGS functions as PAM’s dedicated think tank, supporting its work through strategic research and policy analysis. He also holds the position of PAM Roving Ambassador for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), contributing to the Assembly’s regional outreach and institutional cooperation with Gulf countries.
He is the founder of AEEDC Dubai, Dubai Derma, and DUPHAT—international conferences focused on dental, dermatological, and pharmaceutical sciences. He also initiated the Waterfalls Initiative for Continuous Education from UAE to the World, a non-profit programme supported by the UAE Government aimed at providing free online education to one million healthcare professionals.
