Chief of Staff, Argentinian Ministry of Health
Sonia Tarragona is the Chief of Staff to the Argentinian Minister of Health Carla Vizzotti and will be representing the Minister in the G20 Health Ministers’ meeting in Yogyakarta. She served as Director of Health Economics of the National Ministry of Health, Advisor on Drug Policy and Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmaceutical Industry at the National Ministry of Health. She also served as coordinator of the Strategic Research Unit of the National Ministry of Health, National Coordinator of Drug Policy for MERCOSUR and Coordinator of the Health and Development Commission of MERCOSUR. She has carried out numerous consulting and research projects in the evaluation of health programs, analysis of health markets, intellectual property, economic evaluation, public finances, among others at a local and international level.
