Dr Satoshi Ezoe has been the Director of the Global Health Strategy Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 3 years. Prior to this, Ezoe was the Counsellor covering Health at the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations in New York for 3 years instrumental in the first UNGA HLM on UHC. He has worked at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Government of Japan for more than a decade. Ezoe was seconded to the Senior Advisor for UNAIDS for 3 years.
