Chairman Global TB Caucus, Member House of Lords
Nick Herbert is the Chairman of the Global TB Caucus and former Member of Parliament in the UK. He is the Chair of the Global Equity Caucus, an international network of parliamentarians and elected representatives seeking to tackle discrimination against LGBT+ people. Nick Herbert has an important and long career within the British Parliament that served as a Member of the House of Commons first and now as Member of the House of Lords. As an MP, he held the position of Chair of the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Global LGBT Rights 2015 to 2019. Nick Herbert also served as Minister of State for Policing and Criminal Justice, between 2010 and 2012, Shadow Minister for Police Reform from 2005 to 2007 and Shadow Secretary of State for Justice first and for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs later.
