Professor Silvio Brusaferro
Professor Silvio Brusaferro is the President of the Italian National Institute of Health, a position he has held since 2019 and is also a Professor of Hygiene and Public Health at the University of Udine, where he has worked since 2006. Prof. Brusaferro was previously Commissioner at the Italian National Institute of Health (2019); Head of the Department of Medicine at the University of Udine (2016-2019); and Head of Accreditation, Clinical Risk, Management and Performance Assessment Unit at Udine Academic Hospital (2011-2019). He obtained his degree in Medicine from the University of Trieste in 1985.
