Executive Director, G20 & G7 Health and Development Partnership
Hatice Beton is the Executive Director of the G20 & G7 Health and Development Partnership. Hatice is responsible for leading the strategic direction for the advocacy and partnerships strategy of the Partnership by integrating the voices of 30+ leading global health organisations and policy-makers across the health and finance ecosystem.
She is a trusted advisor to the G20 and G7 Presidencies, providing valuable insights and guidance on their global health diplomacy strategy. Hatice has closely worked with G20 engagement groups such as the T20 and B20 and has contributed to joint publications with a focus on sustainable health financing and cerating a new health investment framework for health.
Prior to her current positions, Hatice has been the CEO of a UK-based political consulting firm providing tailored political advice and organising major multilateral fora and summits for government entities within Europe and the Middle East and some of the Fortune 500 companies. Hatice has successfully helped with institutional redesign and building new public private partnership between stakeholders from the public and private sector including civil society. Previously, Hatice has also gained experience working in government agencies and International Organisations in New York and Brussels. She holds an MSc in Comparative Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
