Dame Angela Eagle has been an MP since 1992. Dame Angela served in a range of posts in the Labour Government, including at HM Treasury, the Home Office, the Department for Transport and the Department for Work and Pensions, as well as in several Shadow Cabinet positions, such as Shadow First Secretary of State and Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills. Since 2019 Angela has supported the G20 Health and Development Partnership as a Global Ambassador by helping to leverage the Partnership’s messaging to the highest political level.
