Matthew Agarwala is an Economist, specialized in wealth-based approaches to measuring and delivering sustainability, wellbeing, and productivity. He leads the Bennet Institute’s Wealth Economy project, which seeks to transform economic measurement to better reflect sustainability, inequality, and human wellbeing. He, regularly, advocates governments and scientific organizations on several topics, such as natural capital, ecosystem services, green finance, wellbeing, and sustainability. Matthew Agarwala is affiliated, other than the Bennet Institute, with the LSE and the Centre for Social and Economic Research on the Global Environment, maintaining active research networks in Canada, Hong Kong, Germany, USA, Japan, and throughout the UK.
