Mai Hijazi is currently Director of the Office of Health Systems at USAID, being present in this role since September 2022. Mai Hijazi is experienced in the workings of USAID, having worked at the organisation since 1997, in a wide array of focuses. These include international development, global health, women’s health, sustainability programming, health and HIV financing, health workforce, public private partnerships, health system resilience and climate adaptation, as well as program design and management.
