Deputy Permanent Representative, Permanent Mission of United Arab Emirates to UN & International Originations
Lubna Qassim in her role as Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations in Geneva has led a resolution on quality education for girls at the UN Human Rights Council and also on role of women in peace process and peace building and frequently speaks out on the importance of Interfaith Dialogue. Ms Qassim is an international speaker on governance, education, female leadership and youth.She speaks five languages; she is the first UAE national to have worked at the World Bank, as the public sector consultant; and at the House of Lords in the UK parliament, as a law graduate. She is a fellow at Dubai School of Government and sits on the Global Economic Symposium Fellows advisory committee of Kiel University.
