WOAH Deputy Head of the Antimicrobial Resistance & Veterinary Products Department
Holy Akwar is the Deputy Head of the Antimicrobial Resistance & Veterinary Products Department. He possesses more than twelve years of professional experience in government at the provincial, federal, and international levels as well as industry. Prior to this, Holy worked as a Research Scientist at the International Vaccine Institute for two years. Holy holds PhD in Population Medicine, Antimicrobial Resistance Animal- Human-Environment Interface from Ontario Veterinary college, University of Guelph.
