Haseeb Ahmad started his career at Novartis in 2017, serving first as Managing Director in UK, Ireland and Nordic sectors and Country President, based in London, then as President of Novartis Gene Therapies and Global Head on Value, Access, and Commercial Development. Today, he is the President of Novartis Europe, operating from Basel. Prior to this role, Haseeb Ahmad worked for Schering-Plough for seven years, where he held several position, from Senior Product Manager until becoming General Manager for Ireland area and then served the company as Business Unit Director in the Primary Care. He, also, served for several years MSD, starting as Strategy and Operations Director, concluding as Managing Director in the Area of Greece, Cyprus and Malta. Prior to the current role, he chaired the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), part of Board in Accelerated Access Collaborative at NHS and advised the government in the Innovation Expert Group at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
