Ambassador for Global Health of Japan, Impact Investment Initiative (Triple I) for Global Health (2023, G7 Japan)
H.E. Hideo served in various missions as diplomat, including France, the Permanent Mission to the OECD, the United States of America, Vietnam, and the Republic of Korea. At the Ministry headquarters, he held the posts of Assistant Minister for International Cooperation as well as Ambassador for Global Issues, in charge of climate change. He has been the Ambassador of Japan to the Czech Republic since September 2020. He holds a law degree from the University of Tokyo.
