Civil Society Representative, ACT-A
Dr. Fifa Rahman represents the global civil society on the World Health Organization ACT-Accelerator for access to COVID-19 tools. Previously, she consulted the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on Access to Medicines and has been on missions dispensing HIV from early infant diagnosis sites in Mozambique, to needle-and-syringe exchange sites in Scott County, Indiana, to prisons in Bogor, Indonesia. Dr. Fifa Rahman has published in the Harm Reduction Journal and the Journal of the International AIDS Society and, among others, is also a supervisor for students working on intellectual property – including on privacy and drones, on the work-for hire doctrine, and on intellectual property for COVID-19 tools.
