Head of AMR Programmes, FAIRR
Dr Emma Berntman is Head of AMR Programmes at the FAIRR Initiative, a global investor network with more than 400 members representing over USD 95 trillion in assets. She supports investors in assessing antimicrobial resistance (AMR) risks and opportunities, engages companies in the animal protein value chain, leads FAIRR’s AMR policy work and supports the Investor Action on AMR Initiative. Previously, Emma spent seven years in Federated Hermes’ dedicated stewardship team, engaging globally listed companies on material sustainability issues, including AMR. She holds a Ph.D. in Immunology and an M.Sc. in Biomedicine from Lund University, Sweden.
