Carlos Gadelha holds a PhD in Economics from the Economics Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He is the Secretary of Science, Technology, Innovation and Health Complex of the Ministry of Health of Brazil. He is also the coordinator of the Professional master’s degree in policy and management of science, Technology, and Innovation in Health at the Sergio Arouca National School of Public Health of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation and professor and researcher at the Graduate Program in Public Health at the Department of Health Administration and Planning.
