Global Head Sustainable Finance, S&P Global Ratings
Bernard de Longevialle began his career in the early 90’s as a central banker and bank supervisor before joining S&P Global Ratings in 1998. Within S&P Global Ratings, Bernard has held various senior positions across Europe, Developing Markets and North America, including Head of Financial Services Ratings for North America between 2013 and 2016 and Head of Financial Services, Sovereign and Public Finance Ratings for the EMEA region between 2016 and 2019. Since October 2019 he is the Global Head of Sustainable Finance for the rating agency. He is in charge of leading the execution of S&P Global Ratings Sustainable Finance Strategy, with regard both to Sustainable Finance Products such as Green evaluation or ESG evaluation, as well as Credit Ratings. The Sustainable Finance Experts Teams work in close collaboration with Rating Analysts across regions and Rating practices, to combine their subject matter expertise with rating analysts unique industry insights.
