Sergio Dompé
Sergio Dompé is the Chair of the 2021 B20 Life Sciences Taskforce in the G20 and the President of Dompé, a pharmaceutical group developing innovative therapeutics solutions for rare and orphan diseases. Since 2019, he has been President of Assolombarda and since 2016, Censor of the Bank of Italy based in Milan. Previously, he was the member of the Board of Regency at the Bank of Italy, and Chairman and President of a range of organisations such as Assobiotec and Farmindustria. He was awarded honorary doctorates in Biotechnology with specialization in pharmaceutics (Bologna, 1996), Medical Biotechnology (L’Aquila, 2005) and Pharmacy (Urbino, 2010).
