Dr James Musick
Dr. James Musick leads the Personalized Healthcare (PHC) team at Roche. He and his team spearhead the strategies and programs that enable Roche to deliver the next generation of healthcare – a convergence of medical knowledge, technology and data science combined to deliver transformational patient care.From this science, data, and technology foundation, Dr. Musick built a career helping biotech, pharma and health sciences companies innovate with new approaches in areas ranging from translational medicine and clinical trials to communications, marketing, and digital health. These efforts included driving the creation of the Digital Medicines unit at Novartis consisting of six Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and deployment of in-market solutions US and ex-US. At UCB, Dr. Musick also transformed the health-tech innovation culture and capabilities with an emphasis on strategic partnerships at scale.
