Bert Hartog is a professional in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, with keen interest and deep expertise in clinal operations and information technology. He is, currently, the Senior Director for Clinical Innovation at Janssen, where he leads and execute transformational innovation projects that have the goal to shape the future of clinical trial execution, with the aim to positioning Janssen as a role model in the patient-centred clinical research. Moreover, he also works for the strategic domain leading digital health in clinical trials. Prior to holding this role, he worked for over a decade at Lilly Foundation as IT Manager, responsible for IT infrastructure and client computing support and services and then, as Clinical R&D Director at Johnson & Johnson where he was part of the global process and Compliance Excellence team in IT infrastructure, responsible for infrastructure computer system validation. In 2010 he became part of the Dutch Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine as Member of the Board and Chairman of the Communication Committee.
