Chief Officer, Corporate Strategy and Affairs, Medicine for Malaria Venture

Andrea Lucard is the Chief Officer, Corporate Strategy and Affairs, Medicine for Malaria Venture. Andrea is responsible for resource mobilization, internal and external communications, advocacy, travel and events. She also spearheaded MMV’s funding strategy. Prior to joining MMV, she was the first Director of Development for the International Baccalaureate, an international education program with schools in 140 countries and more than one million alumni – one of the largest alumni groups in the world. Andrea began my External Relations career at Colorado College, a liberal arts university in the United States, where she was responsible for all the operations and funding for a $300 million capital campaign. Andrea has a bachelor’s degree in art history from Oberlin College and a master’s degree in writing from Warren Wilson College, both in the United States. I’m a citizen of both the United States and the United Kingdom.
